Senior Graphic Designer - Onsite Position

Job Summary

To conceive, design and produce collateral, advertising hospital and physician network materials that creatively and consistently reflect the hospital’s brand identity.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Graphics Design or a related field
Minimum Years of Experience: 5 Years of experience in print or digital design
Substitutable Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Graphics Design or a related field and 5 years of experience in print or digital design can be substituted for 9 Years of experience in print or digital design, 5 years of experience on press checks with a solid understanding of the printing process, and 5 years of art directing photo shoots
Required Certifications/Licensure: None.
Required Training: Expertise with all Adobe software

Essential Functions

  • Develop, design and produce print and digital collateral material.
  • Develop creative approaches that meet hospital objectives.
  • Determine the need for and design of stylistic approaches, graphic treatments.
  • Management of all aspects of location and studio production.
  • Responsible for seeing all projects through, from concept and design, to execution.
  • Work closely with the Project Managers and Coordinators to create hospital and physician network marketing materials.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plan and art direct photo shoots.
  • Go on press checks as needed.
  • Utilizes expertise to lead and mentor junior designers and freelancers.
  • Assists with the development of creative standards and ensures adherence to the standards.
  • Proficient with industry technology and design software.   Makes suggestions or implements improvement initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
