Job Summary

Provides direct administrative, operational, and system support to the Physician Network. The position will support the coordination of onboarding logistics to ensure process efficiency and timeliness. Works to create positive onboarding/new hire relationships aligned with organizational values, and demonstrates commitment to service excellence and process improvements.
 

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum Years of Experience: 2 Years of related experience in an administrative or clerical support role
Substitutable Education & Experience: None.
Required Certifications/Licensure: None.
Required Training: Proficient with MS Office Suite.

Essential Functions

  • Supports processes and relationships with key departments to provide a consistent and hospitable onboarding roadmap for all new hires.
  • Maintains a positive approach when addressing others via phone, written correspondence or personal meetings with persons in the physician network as well as those individuals in other departments.  Tact is required in these contacts and maintaining a harmonious relationship is essential.
  • Maintains a high degree of confidentiality, specifically related to files of correspondence and related materials, including confidential medical staff, departmental, hospital and patient information.
  • Responsible for facilitating the coordination and timely completion of pertinent paperwork for various departments as it relates to the onboarding process.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Follows chain of command in alerting key stakeholders when timelines have been missed or are in jeopardy.
  • Provides regular, thorough reports on new hire status based on the format/schedule determined.
  • Facilitates the coordination of Epic training and all pre-onboarding requirements and orientation.
  • Distributes and maintains onboarding surveys to all new hires and provides feedback to the appropriate departments.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
