Job Summary
Position is responsible for ensuring a safe, efficient, cost-effective, and high quality patient care environment. The Manager recruits, hires, and oversees orientation and training for all clinical and ancillary staff of the practice. Administrative and operational responsibilities include all aspects of clinical compliance, maximizing patient flow, and optimizing the work environment to facilitate open communication and professional excellence.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Minimum Years of Experience: 3 Years of clinical experience during which supervisory experience was demonstrated
Substitutable Education & Experience: None
Required Certifications/Licensure: Current RN license to practice in the state of South Carolina
Maintains current CPR certification.
If required by assigned practice, maintain certification in area of expertise.

Essential Functions
- Provides excellent customer service to external and internal customers. Reviews and monitors patient and customer satisfaction including reviewing feedback from patients and customers and developing action plans with staff to meet satisfaction goals.
- Builds and strengthens relationships based on mutual respect and trust. Fosters cooperation, open communication, and collaborative decision making among peers and staff. Exemplifies and holds others accountable adhering to LMC’s Service Expectations policy.
- Serves as patient and family advocate.
- Ability to acquire and administer human, financial, material and information resources in a manner that instills staff and customer trust and accomplishes the organization’s mission.
- Measures and monitors employee satisfaction. Reviews feedback and develops action plans with staff to drive improvement.
- Works to ensure that the practice stays within budget parameters. Prepares reports and statistical summaries for the physicians and Operations Director or Division Administrator as requested. Provides monthly reporting recommendations or action plans on any issues.
- Develops employees by offering challenging growth opportunities and managing performance by overseeing work, providing feedback and holding employees accountable for unsatisfactory behavior including recommending and initiating personnel action for performance issues utilizing appropriate channels and procedures
- Evaluates staff performance for probationary period and annual performance appraisals
- Reallocates staff among teams as needed to meet patient care needs
- Sets example for clinical staff by ensuring all personal certification and mandatory education requirements are met
Duties & Responsibilities
- Compliance with regulatory standards where applicable to possibly include OSHA, CLIA, DHEC, HIPAA, LLR etc.
- Assesses needs; develops and implements plan with Operations Director or Division Administrator approval for new procedures as necessary to improve office flow and overall operations often coordinating with inpatient departments.
- Develops, implements and monitors work plans with measurable outcomes paying attention to key indicators and making adjustments to meet desired outcomes
- Develops, implements and reviews clinical policies and procedures in conjunction with Medical Director and Operations Director or Division Administrator's approval
- Provides a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment for patients and employees, addressing concerns in a timely manner.
- Ensure ancillary services are being provided to include, but not limited to, patient education, clinical nutrition services and social work assistance.
- Represents the clinical staff at various meetings and serves on committees as assigned
- Identifies, recruits, and retains top talent. Obtains employee engagement and provides effective reward and recognition strategies to enhance employee retention.
- Meets all requirements as defined by Lexington Medical Center’s policies including but not limited to completing yearly safety training, completing other mandatory classes, and meeting departmental attendance requirements.
