Job Summary
To provide service excellence to all members, guests, and clients of Health Directions Lexington Medical Center at the member services desk. To work closely with the Member Services Coordinator to ensure smooth operation of check in procedures, call backs for appointments, answer queries in person and on the phone and to assist with all member concerns.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum Years of Experience: 2 Years of experience in the service industry
Substitutable Education & Experience: None.
Required Certifications/Licensure: None.
Required Training: Experience with Microsoft Office Products
Essential Functions
- Acts as first point of contact to members/clients at Member Services Desk.
- Handles and/or reports daily operational issues to Member Services Coordinator.
- Receives payments, registrations, maintains and balances cash drawer daily.
- Ensures all member service reps, childcare and fitness instructors are on-duty as scheduled.
- Conducts tours for prospective clients.
- Coordinates Service Recovery program.
- Assists Member Service Coordinator as needed (e.g., filing, member contacts, mail outs, surveys, etc.)
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assists coordinating health promotion activities and services such as member/employee appreciation days and other special events.
- Demonstrates appropriate communication of information to all ages and responds to all customer’s/member’s requests and needs, i.e. hard of hearing, etc.;
- Performs such other related duties as may be assigned by authorized personnel; or as may be required in as emergency, i.e., fire and disaster.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
