Job Summary

The Resource Pool is a project based float pool that services our 70+ physician practices.  The Resource Pool was created in 2008 to provide long term coverage for maternity leave, medical leave, FMLA and scheduled vacations.  Like our traditional Resource Pool positions that float to different practices, you will provide coverage in a variety of practices but will be Full-Time and benefit eligible.


Locations change, so successful candidates must be willing to travel to any one of the physician practices located in our Health District, which covers about a 30 mile radius.  Physician Practices are located Downtown, Northeast, Irmo, Chapin, Lexington and West Columbia along with some offices in Batesburg/Leesville, Gilbert and Swansea. 
 

Position is responsible for providing nursing care to patients in a professional and courteous manner. Carries out Physician orders including but not limited to assisting with procedures, administering injections, performing phlebotomy, taking patient calls, cleaning and stocking exam rooms, calling in prescriptions, coordinating supply levels, pre-certifying patients medical services, and assisting the physician with all other patient care as requested.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum Education:  High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum Years of Experience:  None
  • Substitutable Education & Experience:  None
  • Required Certifications/Licensure:  Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Carolina; Current CPR certification.
  • Required Training:  Basic first aid knowledge
